Reading Time: 5 minutes The Gift of Travel is Always on My List What do you want this year? For me, it’s the same thing I want every year, the gift of travel. Take me to the beach. Sail me away on a cruise ship. Book me a bungalow in the jungle; it doesn’t matter. My purpose is to travel, learn, and grow. Although, lazily sipping a Miami Vice with salt in my hair on a tropical coastal shore sounds pretty good, too. Would you appreciate the gift of travel? I know what I want. However, it’s hard to know what to get others that will spark the kind of utter joy I feel when someone gives me the gift of adventure. I want to “Wow” them. Surprised smiles, gasps of awe, astonished, wide eyes; these are the reactions I wish to evoke. Pure happiness. That’s what I want my family to have for the holidays. Travel With Purpose

Reading Time: 12 minutes What Does it Mean to Travel with Purpose? I learned how to travel with purpose fairly recently. One year, for Christmas, we decided not to get presents. Instead, we’d gift our children a wonderfully relaxing, long-overdue family vacation. We searched the internet for fun family destinations. My husband loves the beach, and I’m always ready to sink my toes in the sand with the sun on my back and salt in my hair while I sip a frosty Miami Vice. Additionally, we knew the kids needed to be entertained. They would be 13 and 18 by the time we took flight. Traveling with Purpose Requires an Action Plan Since both kids like adventure, we booked our stay at a beautiful all-inclusive beach resort which had a variety of activities. Moreover, it was nestled comfortably along the shore of Puerto Villarta, Mexico – a destination known for its incredible beaches. Quality family time was our purpose.
